DSA Receives AIA Honolulu's Design Award of Excellence for its Botanical Research Center

Today, we have a very exciting development to report: as of July 29th, 2010, DSA is the proud winner of the AIA Honolulu's Design Award of Excellence for its design of the Juliet Rice Wichman Botanical Research Center at the National Tropical Botanical Garden of Kalaheo.

The news was published on AIA Honolulu's Official Website as well as in the August 2010 issue of Hawaii Business and the Honolulu magazine.

Juror's Comment:
"This timeless and memorable building responds beautifully to the site.  With its spare and elegant branchlike cloumns, the structure and architectural enclosure are wonderfully scaled."
