Hawaiian Modern House at Kukui‘ula in Ke Ola

Named Hale ‘Ike Māla (house with a view of the garden), this new custom home in the Kahalawai neighborhood of Kukui‘ula on Kauai's south shore is featured in a story by Malia Mattoch McManus in Ke Ola. Malia describes Dean Sakamoto's design which was informed by the principles of Hawaiian Modern master Vladimir Ossipoff. Insight from executive architect Keith Kelly and interior designer Marion Philpotts round out this eloquent article which is illustrated by Greg Blore's dramatic photos.
